Hello, and thank you for dropping by, I’m Vaishnavi Ramesh, a photographer and a handloom weaver. My experiments with creativity have led me to various pursuits, but photography has always been a constant. Weaving began as a hobby, but I soon found myself enwrapped in the intricacies of this beautiful craft. It has now become an enduring passion that I call Aslii Thari—my humble tribute to this traditional handicraft.
Juggling my two interests has brought me in contact with many interesting people to learn from and invaluable work experience. If you’re looking for someone to capture a moment and shine a spotlight on your product, or if you love a good weave, do get in touch!

Aslii Thari:
Aslii Thari translates into "The Real Loom", reflecting the honesty in our work that weaves together multiple influences. Our journey began with paper, weaving book covers and art pieces, which soon transitioned to cotton yarns thanks to a very generous gift of a Rigid Heddle Loom. Aslii Thari hopes to cast a spotlight on the beauty of this traditional handicraft. Every product is handwoven with honesty, using yarns that are eco-friendly. No two pieces are ever alike and will always be uniquely yours.
